If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex. But condoms will reduce it? Should schools stock toiletries? Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health care to all Americans is socialism. If we nationalize our health care, where will Canadians who need high tech heart surgery quickly go to? Mexico? HMOs and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart. HMO and insurance companies should honor contracts made with clients. Nothing more nor less. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools. The single Mt Penatubo eruption put more CO2 into our atmosphere that makes the all time human contribution pale. When I was in school, our Weekly Readers they handed us made us worry we were all going to freeze in a new ice age because of human contribution. What year was it decided to sell the warming over the freezing? In the 1800s you see many pictures of men all holding a pipe, in WW2 everyone seems like they smoke. I know more young people today who do not smoke who have cancer that I ever recall not that many years ago when I was younger. With smoking way down, why all the cancer? Just like Polio could not be given to rabbits unless their insulin levels were elevated, I suspect cancer may be the same way. Go tell the 100+year old French women who have smoked all their lives and eat a high fat/high dairy diet that it is bad for them. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense. A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy. Bush lied? Did Clinton lie then too since he told Bush that Sadam was WMDs. In the debate, when asked about his saying Bush lied, Kerry said he did not use the strong word of "lie"(which is a lie in itself) and allllllllllllllllllllllllll he came up with that I heard was that Bush said he would go to war carefully and Kerry claims Bush was not careful. Is this the lie you had in mind???????? In the State of the Union speech, Bush said "according to the British government, Sadam was trying to get yellowcake for nuclear weapons" or something like that. Blair much later maintained they stand by the statement to that day. Wilson in the US who was afforded much press coverage when he said Sadom did not. The 9/11 Commission found that Wilson was wrong. No press coverage on that for some reason, oh well. And indeed, some 500 tons of yellowcake enriched uranium were removed from Iraq. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet. The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's cocaine conviction is none of our business. Cocaine conviction? Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness, and you need our prayers for your recovery. Why not both? You support states' rights, which means Attorney General John Ashcroft can tell states what local voter initiatives they have the right to adopt. I am not sure what you are talking about. What did you think of Louisiana's 70some % voter initiative being overturned by one man? What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant. When you viewed those putting forth stories about Clinton, did you ever think you would become just like one of them? Feel free to pass this on. If you don't send it to at least 10 other people, we're likely to be stuck with Bush for 4 more years. No thanks, I do not think I would like someone who is rated more liberal that Sen. Ted Kennedy.
