I doubt that this is the case, as there have never really been any studies that show that sexual behavior is influenced by diet, one way or the other.

And just personally, I have been a vegetarian / vegan for years and years and I'm gay.

I think that societal acceptance of homosexuality is allowing more people to be 'out' about their sexuality without suffering (as much) abuse or discrimination. More people come out and it seems that more people are gay. In addition, a more affluent, more mobile society has allowed people to fairly easily migrate to urban centers where sexual diversity is more tolerated.

The other issue, and one that is a more troubling, is the idea that homosexuality is a disease/sickness/defficiency. It's not, and there really isn't any evidence out there that it is.
