Re: Is there any hope?

Hi Thanatos,

first of all: I salute you for all your posts.
You are the voice of reason!

I'm on a similar mission,
and will let you know any new findings or ideas.

Where do you get your chlorhexadine mwash from?
Is there any online place that'd ship to Europe?

p.s.
I've got some confused thoughts for you.

I've recently started thinking about ways of
permanently alter oral pH. It may sound daft, but...

In Sweden, it's quite popular to use a form of tobacco
which comes in small bags, and you put it under your
upper lip and keep it there for hours.
Now, this practise is actually good for salivary flow,
and is therefore quite a good idea for BB sufferers,
one would think, especially compared to smoking,
EXCEPT,
it makes the mouth more alkaline, I think (in Swedish
it's called 'basiskt', i e pH > 7) - so, no good idea
after all, I guess.
BUT, I was thinking, can't someone invent a similar
product which makes the oral cavity permanently
< 7 (acid) instead?
I may well have got some pretty basic facts regarding
pH wrong, but I thought it was worth throwing the
idea out there...

Ok, I'll be back soon.
