Re: Everybody Needs to Calm Down: Sign-off

Hey hey hey,
I do think the point you're making is an important one.
It's easy to get into the vicious circle where obsessing
about the condition (bb) makes it worse, and the worse
condition making the obsessing worse etc etc etc (yawn).
Still, it's 100% certain that it's not a purely psycho-somatic
problem, so I think you've gone just a bit over the top :-/
I certainly know the power of psycho-somatic disease, and
I also had full on OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) as
a teenager, and people with a brain in overdrive, constantly
obsessing over this or that, can defo cause physical symptoms.

But what to do?
Meds which helps the brain out of these patterns are in the
same medicine family as anti-depressants, which often have
the side effect Dry Mouth - not a good thing in our case.

Still, it IS probably a good idea to *try* and adopt a less
defeatist attitude regarding everything (social situations /
finding a way out of this etc) and just grab hold of situations
without accepting defeat by default. Be King. I'm trying to
get into this state of losing all tension/anxiety/obsessive
thoughts by lowering the brain activity to like 10%, as it
would normally be in a very hot climate, or after fckuing.
I'm trying to make that my permanent state. A body which
is strong, confident and relaxed must surely be better at
fighting *anything*, even internal problems like bb.

Anyway, I have a feeling this message suddenly became
nonsense :-/? Or are you still with me?

Original poster, what's your plan? How do you intend to sort
yourself out, psychologically (without meds)?
