Am I cleaned out or clogged up???
Hi- I am new here and so glad to find so many people willing to help!
I started a 'cleanse' last Thursday (Dr. Haas-detox diet book)-began as more of a general detox, but then I just kept reading and adding more supplements.
I wanted to do only (organic) fruits and veggies and tea that I got from a Chinese medicine doctor. I have been really good and am taking the vitamins- including psyllium, even drinking the clay (for 2 days now- which I was mortified to do, and so happy that it isn't bad). The problem is I have not eliminated as much as I am taking in (which really isn't much)- mostly fruit and veggie juices and salad (including seaweed)- AND I am trying not mixing the fruit and veg. AND I haven't lost any weight (and my measurements are the same!). I did the mastercleanse a few years ago and got out a lot of gunk- lost tons of weight and felt great and stayed eating really healthy for a long time (fell off the wagon about a year ago-but could do a little cleanse here and there and lose a few
pounds and feel better).
1. Here is where I sinned: I ate tofu, rice and seafood
(with sauce that had sugar) once on Saturday and once Sunday- Did I mess it all up???
2. Did I eat too much
Sugar (which I tried to do early in the day, not mix with veggies, blend smoothy-type juices and a little dried fruit)?
Sugar has been a problem with weight loss before, so I know this part- but the bod usually changes a little by now!
3. Is the
Bentonite clay going to hit all at one time (should I stay home?), I don't know what to expect.
That's it for now- Any advice would be helpful!
