Re: Weird stomach and spleen feeling.

Before I found this site last August 2002 I had about 8 months of acupuncture for the pains in my upper back, shoulders, neck and head. I also had all manner of wierd sensations like you. The doctor who did the acupuncture (an orthopaedic surgeon) told me that the nerves from the intestines, stomach and liver run up to the brain and are responsible for all these strange pains and sensations. For some reason, he said, which they don't yet understand, the nerves become sensitised and pass on messages which normally they do not do. After flushing 11 times with the help of this forum my health has improved a lot and I am less prone to the nasty sensations and wierd feelings as long as I eat small meals. If I overload my digestive system then it brings back a recurrence.
If you don't want to flush yet in case you spoil your holiday with your dad then try 1/4 to 1 teaspoon of Epsom Salts in your first hot drink of the morning. You have to experiment to see what dosage suits you without loosening your bowels. I take about 1/4 teaspoon in my tea and it does work. It certainly makes me feel better and was recommended to me on this website. Hope this helps a bit.
