That was me you got an email from. (hope you don't mind).

To flowerchild, I too, am an RN and am finding it very difficult to find any other RN's who feel the way I do about health and healing. This country has more interest in the almighty dollar than they do true healing. I think, though, that as more and more people demand better alternatives, 'they' will jump on the bandwagon as long as they can get paid. Only problem is, it's hard for them to get paid when most insurance companies won't pay for natural remedies. These next few decades will be interesting, especially for us RN's.

Sometimes I find it hard to work in my field when I'm contradicting how I really feel. I wish I could do something else in the field that would help people REALLY get better. Although you can't follow people around and take the junk food out of their hands, stomp on the cigarettes, light a fire under their tush, and force them to sip Epsom Salts and olive oil. It really is a personal choice to get healthy. Everybody wants a quick fix and someone else to 'fix' their problems.

I'm thankful for this website and the people here.. It's a great resource and somewhere where I'll always come to further my knowledge of 'self-healing'.
