Flush one - Epsom salt!
First liver flush, slightly combining two: Ate nothing but whole foods all day, cooked a batch of homemade organic veggie & beef stew for dinner and drank about 3
quarts of organic pressed apple juice yesterday. Had a slice of all organic whole grain multigrain bread for breakfast, an apple mid morning, a garden veggie salad no dressing & a banana for lunch (noon), no food since. Basically following
Hulda Clark 's
Liver Flush plus apple juice, I guess.
Anywhich, after somehow downing my second
Epsom Salt dose at 8, I decided that y'all might get a kick out of the journal entry I made an hour ago.
"7:00 - Ok, now understand, I'm a recovering alkie who drank vodka or grain alcohol straight with no chasers, I drank my tea & coffee black, i prefer dark chocolate, & happen to Like the strong acrid flavor of
Wormwood tea, so maybe my taste buds are rather attuned to bitter. The B&P shakes were rather unpleasant but not horribly so, the oral saltwater solution was just salty, but Ack!
Epsom Salts are absolutely Vile! Metallic, beyond bitter, beyond description. I'd read where the grapefruit/olive oil mix was bad, but this was a very unwelcome surprise. Ugh! The taste alone makes me not want to continue, add that to the lightheaded feeling I have, the nausea, and (odd combination) the hunger which supposedly I wouldn't feel and it's hard to stay convinced, but I will finish it (unless I end up throwing it up.) Too stubborn to quit now, I hope that it's a wildly successful flush to make it all worth it. How I'll get my husband to go through this is beyond me right now. One more hour before the next dose, hope the flavor has faded by then. Odd, that weird sprained arch feeling just ran through both my feet, mainly the left one. I think the coating on my tongue is holding the flavor of the
Epsom Salts - yeuk!
Hehe. Well, second
Epsom Salt dose is down, nothing has come back up yet and I'm now waiting on the wonders of the gf/oo mix in just over an hour. I'll let you know how it goes. =)
