I think you're right.. In my case, I think the large stone was blocking the duct such that none of the calcified stones could have gotten through. In fact, the surgeon said that there was no bile in my gallbladder.. and likely there hasn't been for some time. So I'm not sure that anything can be flushed out of the gallbladder without bile to flush it..

Thanks for the info regarding the difference in stones. Once I recover a bit more, I'll try another liver flush.
