Here in Utah, was a huge story a couple days ago about a perfectly healthy 22 year old girl, she needed extra $. She gave plasma for the first time, went home and felt sick. She waited for her husband to come home so he could take her to ER. They went to ER, but she was worried about the bill,( she didnt have insurance), she wanted to leave. Her husband talked her into staying, but they were waiting and waiting, too long. She insisted that she was feeling better and she just wanted to go home and sleep. She signed release papers, against the hospitals advice, they wanted her to be seen by a doctor. She went home, took a shower, went to bed, and died in her sleep that night. Everyone is waiting for the autopsy results. If its because of the plasma donation center, they may shut them down.
