Re: My oen personal religion.
My ideas are based upon my life experience - i didnt have a christian upbringing but there was definately a christian slant to my upbringing.
I think the basic guiding principle of it is: Do what feels morally right.
My ideas are not set in stone but i can't see any of the ones i wrote down being changed in the forseeable future.
Debate and questioning the bible and believing in my own answers to the questions have given me many of my ideas.
If i were to follow one of the mainstrean religions it would be Buddhism.
My idea about God has changed slightly from several years ago. I would of classed myself as agnostic at around the age of 16-17. i didnt really think too much about it until a few years ago again - simply because i had more time on my hands i think.
Id like to hear peoples feelings about their own personal ideas. My goal is to try and develop a religion that would be open to all and appealing to all.
