I am starting on the Lemonade Diet today. I have never done it and am concerned because I am alergic to lemon and other citrus fruits. Is there something I can substitute? Should I just endure the itching that I get in hopes that detoxifying my system will decrease or eliminate my food allergies or at least cause more long term good than short term harm? I am going on it because I have had an itchy rash for several months that no medication has helped and my dermatologist is at a loss. I also feel toxic. I have noticed improvement when I drink large quantities of distilled water and eat a low nickel diet.
