polymyalgia rhuematica (pmr)

Do you think the zapper will work with curing polymyalgia rhuematica (pmr)? My mother is 80 years old and in extreme pain with this disease. Doctors tell her only prednisolone will work on it, but she can't take that because of osteoperosis. What regimine might work with the zapper to cure pmr?
