3/4 cup chopped nuts, I used walnuts

you can add a half a cup of no Sugar no dairy sunspire carob chips if you
like.....

13X9 greased pyrex pan at 350 for about 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean from middle.

Healthy
Banana Nut Bread:

1/2 C olive oil or melted butter

1-2 T raw honey the rest no Sugar added pure applesauce fill 1/2 cup with honey applesauce mixture.

2 organic eggs or whites only, up to you.

2 cups mashed very ripe banana's

1 t vanilla
can add 2t cinnamon, up to you. I didn't and it was good.

2 cups sprouted spelt flour (sprouted flour won't raise insulin levels)

1t baking soda or 1 T baking powder (if soda make sure aluminum free!)

1/2 cup chopped walnuts.......can add a cup if you like

mix and bake in a greased pyrex dish for approx 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean from middle. 350 degrees

Of course if we have a slice or two of this we omit our fruit and ezekial bread for the day...........

I'm going to play around with healthy oatmeal cookies sometime next week too. this ties in with Dr. Linda Posch's "Healthy Lifestyle Plan"

If diabetic, then omit the raw honey for xylitol or liquid stevia
