I have not specifically studied kefir cheese but I would say, possibly not, cheese is normally classified as being produced by mold rather than by bacteria. If the cheese is made from kefir, then it may have some bacteria left but most might be killed by the mold.

It would be best to get a list of the live and active bacteria present and how concentrated these are.
