Organic, extra virgin..

is what you have to look for nana. Refined, bleached, pastuerized, stabilized, deodorized, etc.. these terms explain that the product you bought is not in it's original form and has been tempered with for WHATEVER reasons, mainly to increase shelf life, so products dont go bad and the manufacturer ends up with more profit.

Our bodies are designed in such a way, that anything that goes in, MUST come out. If something can sit on shelf for 4 months and doesn't go bad, it will show the same qualities when ingested. We dont want stuff to sit in our organs for months or even years, do we? Plus, those things make our organs work harder, stressing our immune system and oh lord so much more.
Here is an example, you want to get to point A and you need to move at an angle of 19 degree for say about 100 miles, but somehow the compass tipped and you started moving at 20 degrees. You may not pay attention or disregard it, since it's only one degree, think about it though, where will you end up after 100 miles?
Now imagine, eating all this processed food, where will it lead us after 20, 30, 40, 50.... years?
Same way, those TINY bit amounts of food additives are steering our health is totally different directions.

There are quite a few good oils in market, recommended by extreme health conscious people. I will paste all links. But, first I will paste the one I use and love it. They donot advertise, just word of mouth, thats how I found out about it.
We had quite a heated exchange, you can read all my message on this page and the one before.
The reason I like this oil, is that it is heated at very low temperatures and oil is extracted within couple of hours the coconuts are cracked.

I had a big argument about the following oil, but I will post it's link also, as it is a pretty good oil, but I beleive there are better products available.

On these websites, you will also find uses of cocnut oil. We are supposed to eat 3 tablespoons a day, in salads, food or raw. I like to eat Nutiva by spoon, when it solidifies (kinda unusal), tastes exactly like eating a chunk of coconut, I always use a fresh spoon as Caitlin mentioned.
You can apply it on your face, body, hair, coconut oil is an excellent sunblock, and so much more.
