Re: Verbal abuse in relationships

Not all men are verbally abusive. They are some wonderful guys out there. There was a time in my life that I was drawn to the "James Dean" types, the kick ass men because it was so exciting. I still love to watch anything Mafia and I am just grateful I was never introduced to a Mafia guy because I know I would have probably married him. The negative side to these types of men is most of them have tempers and would have a tendency to be verbally abusive. I had to come to terms with my weakness being drawn to those men. (But I still love Tony Soprano.)

Now, I am older and a little wiser. I have my kick ass man, but he is gentle at home. There are good ones out there.
