What is love?

While I agree with you that one should not confuse romance/passion with love, I was wondering if you could clarify the definition of love. Apparently love is different from friendship, respect and wisdom, since you listed them separately. And the love we are talking about here is a narrow defintion w.r.t a relationship, not the love for one's children, parents, nature, country, god or whatever.

What is love? Is it simply "enjoying being with each other" + friendship + respect + wisdom + sex?

Any good books you can recommend?
