Re: Husband critical of body - please help

I can sympathize with anyone who has a spouse who loves to criticize his/her mate's body or whatever. Mine has done it for years and sometimes it is hard to deal with. It seems that if you ignore it, it gets worse. However, if you respond, you are playing into her hand. I have thought many times of turning the tables and telling her to look at herself. Although she has a beautiful face the rest of her body doesn't look so good in the nude. But, I can not bring myself to say such things because I know it puts an everlasting thought in your mind; which I have in mine. I have heard all the crap so long I would be truly afraid to start another relationship if we parted. Tweet
