Thanks to all who responded. I want to flush before Thanksgiving, but it may have to wait till afterwards.

Everyone's encouragement has convinced me this is the best thing to do - considering my history.

Thank you so much everyone. I will keep you updated. The sooner the better, but with raising 2 active boys, it's hard to make the time. I will do it very soon.

One more thing. . . my "rural" drugstore didn't have the salts. Does Kroger, etc. have them in stock or is this a prescription thing? My husband had a colonoscopy a few months ago and had a prescription for the Epsom Salts .

Again, your insight and advice is very much appreciated.
