Have you then tried to see what foods might be causing the acne? It might be worth experimenting with your foods. If your Acne doesnt get triggered by the Sugar in fruits, then try a fruit fast for 5 days. Or a salad fast, or some other SIMPLE foods. I for one found that my Acne worsened if I ate any fruits. My Ayurveda doctor then had me eating just 3 or 4 simple foods. And in the 10 days that I have been following his advice, I have seen a lot of improvement. My breakfast consists of quick oats with 2 slices of toasted whole wheat bread, lunch consists of rice and dal and same with dinner. I eat a few slices of toated whole wheat bread for lunch and dinner as well sometimes. For an afternoon snack I eat puffed wheat and sugar-free cheerios. And most important of all, dont drink cold water. Drink hot water - not lukewarm, but almost as if its hot tea or coffee- that hot. This drinking hot water goes for everyone - your GI tract and digestive system works optimally when its kept warm. How many BMs per day do you have? Also, have you tried hot compress on your acne? Just take some hot water and dip a wash cloth in it, then wring most water out and press the hot cloth on your Acne for a few minutes. This gets the circulation going. You may follow up with a cold compress. And get plenty of sleep. What kind of acne do you have - how big, what color, does it form a white or yellow head, what areas does it appear at, all these might give you a clue as to how to solve the puzzle.
