Introduction + Final List for Sat, Jan.29
Hey everyone! ok here's the deal..I'm 19, somewhat experienced with Water Fasting
(the longest I've ever gone was 21 days) and I've also done variations of "fasts" for much longer (i.e., 1 blended fruit & ice drink per day for 2 months). I've been dying to start a longer fast for quite a while now, but never did make it past a few days. I don't think I was prepared before, but I am now. I'm currently 5'7.5 and 130-135, I don't know for sure b/c but I won't step on the scale since I'm so hideous, and it really really depresses me. My normal weight is around 110-115; last year I weighed 98, so I've obviously gained a significant amount in the past 6 months, and I really just want to lose what I gained recently from eating so excessively. I also want to cure a stomach condition that I have, and clear my head (i always feel so "enlightened" during fasts), then start eating Macrobiotically again when it's all over and I feel rejuvenated. (plus a whole bunch of other reasons, I could go on forever). So that's my status- I'd like to know more about you guys too so we all know where we're coming from!
I just read Sindy's post about starting tomorrow (Saturday January 29) and I decided that I'm 100% in! Tomorrow's as good a day as any...I'm tired of postponing it. So...I am starting the second that I wake up tomorrow, and I would love love love to have some encouragement from you guys- and to have someone to report back to.. that always helps me stay motivated and feel more responsible for sticking with it.

I'm also wondering what kind of fasting each of you are planning on doing. Only water, or are you consuming fresh juices too? I don't have a juicer so I might have to go with all water.. I was considering the Master-Cleanse
that I've heard about, but I don't know much about it. does anyone have experience with that?
Have you guys been preparing at all? eating less than you usually do..raw foods or anything?
