I just wanted to see if any of you have actually lost any weight.. It's been a full month since that January 22nd fast that we had planned on and I regretfully say that I did not follow through the entire time. (just proving the critics right, ya know...) I only lasted about 7 days and eventually could not handle my mother's hour long lecture everyday. She is really against me fasting, and she honestly thought it would put me in the hospital to fast for such an extended time. She would burst out crying because she was so worried...it was crazy really... so I started eating some fruit and vegetables again to assuage her concerns. I'm really disappointed in myself though.... *sigh*..one of the many disadvantages of living with your mom again at 19. haha.. Well after my 7 days, I really didn't lose anything that wasn't gained back by eating vegetables. ...a little disappointing, since I love the feeling of fasting. It pretty much accomplished nothing since what I really wanted was the feeling of mental clarity and enlightenment that I experience during the second half of a longer fast...like day 16. Well, I wasn't very successful but I hope everyone else has had a good experience.... let me know what's going on with you all & how much weight you've lost!
