Hey Michael. It's Sharene (we're doing the fast together)! I have also had similar responses to food after a fast. Once I start eating again, my cravings come back full force and before you know it, I'm eating everything under the sun. I've found something that works AMAZINGLY. Eat nothing but ORGANIC foods...eat anything you want...beef, chicken, fish, veggies, fruits, pasta, ANYTHING, but just make sure it's organic. I've found that with that I go HOURS (4 or more) without hunger (because your body is now getting REAL nutrients, and not genetically altered CRAP that other like foods have). Water Fast is to eliminate the toxins I haven't flushed out of my body yet, but once that's over, I'll again be on an all organic diet. Try it. It's slightly more expensive, but if you think about it, you're eating less because you're less hungry. By the way, you'll reach the "lack-of-hunger" stage after eating PURELY organic food for at least 2 weeks. After that it's EASY! Also, there are times you're not going to be able to find organic asparagus, or organic this or that, but whatever you do, DO NOT eat non-organic (free range / grown wild/ no
Antibiotics / no growth hormones, etc.) meats, poultry or fish or breads, pastas or cereals. The only thing that might be difficult is the fruits and veggies, but even that won't be too difficult.
Anyway, hope this helps. How's your fast going? This is my day 1 and I'm STARVING!...lol. Not going to give in though.
