Re: Immediate Risks of Abortion
Well, those sites look pretty good on paper until you start fishing around a bit.
For the first two posts, one of the Board Members, this is a link to their organization.
http://www.lifeadvocacy.com/weeklybriefing.php
From the third site, there is a quote:
"Abortion and
Breast Cancer Risk
Delaying a first full term pregnancy, or not becoming pregnant at all, increases a woman's chance of developing breast cancer. A spontaneous or induced abortion does not independently increase a woman's chance of developing breast cancer. Prolonged lactation (breast feeding) seems to offer a weak protection from breast cancer."
Not terribly conclusive, is it?
And the last site is so pathetically pro-life.
So, let's say that there is some evidence, although not proven, that the female body does go through some changes of estrogen. But, as in some of these articles, it does say that many factors can, and do come into play, and that an induced abortion, by itself, does not determine potential
Breast Cancer (except from the 1st and 2nd site, that does not overtly scream Pro-life, but it really is). I find it very interesting, and I'm assuming they did this on purpose to give themselves more credibility. I think it's sort of sneaky myself.
This is still propaganda, but I would be interested if you do uncover anything that makes clear statements and not from an agenda.
Thanks.
