Hello MH,
Well I just found some papers by Dr. Christopher and in one of them he talks about foods that are good for you. And he does include grains. I've been having problems when I eat whole grain rice, even though I soak it, and so I would like to change my question to this:
Dr. Christopher suggests soaking the whole grain up to 20 hours and then cooking it at a temperature no higher than 130 degrees. He says to use wheat, oat groats, and several other grains, but doesn't list rice. I had been staying away from the gluten grains, but if rice isn't okay, I'll try preparing spelt in the manor he suggests, and maybe just put up with any side effects knowing that what I'm doing for my body will help it. Or is it necessary to start out with just fruit and vegetables, and then down the line grains don't bother you? PS: I have ordered your booklet, but I know that food is the most important thing in getting better, so I need to know what to do as far as eating is concerned as soon as possible. I recently switched from vegetarian to low carb and eating chicken and eggs because I wasn't feeling good eating grains, etc., but maybe I was just doing it wrong.
