I found a site through a google search on natural pet care that had information about animal vaccinations and the resulting secondary symptoms/disease that manifested as a result of the vaccines (they advocated no vaccinations, just homeopathics.) Licking paws was related to the Bordatella vaccine, I think. My yorkie also licks her paws daily. She has been on a raw diet since age 4 or so (she's now 13), and that has kept her really frisky and cleared up some other problems, but she still has skin issues (I also do the flax oil). I stopped vaccinating her a couple years ago, even for rabies (we never kennel her, so it hasn't been a issue), and I didn't even give her heartworm meds this year, but she was vaccinated regularly up until then. I wish we had a vet in our area that was truly holistic. Tweet
