My Lyme symptom was dizziness

I had an itch and scratched the uniquely small body of 'seed' deer tick off, first mini-tick I'd had in my years of yanking big ticks off my carcass, and the next day I was dizzy. I associated it with the dizziness I get from my intolerance to cinnamon and called up a health food company that makes a new soft drink I was trying to see if cinnamon was in it. She said her boyfriend in California just bought mountain property and the old timer said if you get a tick bite and become dizzy, get treated immediately. So I took a lesson and went to the doc who dug out the tiny tick head and put me on Doxycycline--no more dizziness. So don't wait for the ring rash if you have any symptoms. Now of course I'm eager to figure out how to wipe out any microfilarial worms as seen at The punchline is that everybody from the county park personnel to the docs at the hospital here in KC said we do not have Lyme Disease in our area. Hunters must be particularly careful as often developing symptoms and not knowing why as being out of the information loop. I pray to God we get a cure for this syndrome which includes bacterial infection and wee worm infestation. THIS FORUM IS INVALUABLE!
