Re: dog mystery illness, please help!

I am totally freaking out!! I am about in hysterics all the time... I dont know what to do anymore... She feels sooo horrible- and I can't help her. (This is my baby-- I dont have children- my whole life revolves around this dog) And I'm furious that the 3 different vet's arn't helping her either. I've spent a lot of money I can't afford-and their not even making educated guesses. It would be differnt if they were helping her-- but the more they try, the worse it gets.

The rash has gotten worse in the last couple of days... it seriously looks like a third degree burn or something.... I can't explain it... it's very painfull looking- and is slowly creeping outward. Peeling and scabing (for lack of a better word) It looks a little better when wet- but it dries out quickly... oils and such cause the peeling skin to become painfully hard and crusty. Bactine (with ladicain) seems like it would help, but theres been no significant change...
I've been using the silver- but that doesn't seem to be helping either. She's scratching and licking at it also.... we dont know what to do.
I wonder what a yeast infection would look like on a dog? I have a relative who got a yeast infection on her stomach skin I'd never seen anything like it. BUT, this doesn't have that distinctive odor that I think comes with a yeast infection.

I just dont know what to think anymore.. I am beside myself worried. This has been going on for 8 weeks, I am way beyond stressed out.
