Coconut oil has strong anit-fungal and antibacterial properties. It is a strong detoxer and most people who begin using it experience some sort of detox reaction, be it acne, rashes, bumps or ill feelings. I would tend to think this is a good reaction and means the oil is doing what it's supposed to do. I would suggest to keep using it for a few days to see what happens. It might also help if you rub some of the oil on your skin where you are having issues and that may help to clear it up faster but up to you. I use coconut oil for everything, cooking, face cream, body lotion and hair conditioner. I also eat it raw, probably about 1 tbsp a day. I love it. I haven't started oil pulling yet and have just found this site but I am seriously considering it. Good luck!!
