Maya is correct. If the packaged raw food is really raw food then it most likely has crushed bones in it and has a very high calcium content (which dogs need). It sounds like the stool is just like from a dog eating raw meaty bones. Our dogs follow a raw meaty bone diet and the stool turns white and dries up almost immediately due to them eating bones. Hardly any smell. It is great.
If you are worried about it and want the stool a little softer you could feed some liquid oil such as flax or fish oil, or give them a little raw liver or other rich meats like beef heart, etc. That should loosen them up. Also if you do start adding some raw meaty bones to the diet, start with chicken, but if you feed too much skin in the beginning you will also get loose stools. And yes if you feed some veggies that will also loosen the stool.
Raw food diets are wonderful. Keep up the good work.
