In regards to the fast, I did a seven day fast and I still stink. But mine was supervised and was done with 2 colemas a day. I also had a bowl of veggie broth, 1 coconut's juice, and a liver cleanse drink (OJ, cayenne, olive oil, garlic), along with herb pills and psyllium husk drinks to help the enemas along. This is one of the reasons I think my problem is candida. I am sure that the problem is in my colon, and Sugar was the only thing I kept running through my body, so the fast wouldn't have had that much of an effect on the candida. If you are going to do a fast talk to a naturopathic doctor first. You can end up doing more harm than good if you don't do it properly.
I'm also doing a candida cleanse right now, but am having a really tough time. I feel rundown all the time and have already lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks with no exercise. And I was skrawny to begin with. I find myself eating things I shouldn't be just so I can get through the day (or night). But I have learned of new things that aggrevate my guts that I wasn't aware of before, like red meat. My bad breath only comes back when I eat the wrong things(i.e red meat) and the morning funk in my room seems to have disappeared. I haven't actually had the courage to ask anyone whether my stench is any better, though, so this could be wishful thinking.
