This is from "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill" by Udo Erasmus...
"A number of pioneering researchers from several continents have independently observed that cancer involves the presence of microbes....they have had little support from orthodox medicine. Working independently, these researchers have given different names to the microbes invoved. Observing them ALIVE, these researchers report that like us, the microbes change form during their life cycle(are pleomorphic). They resemble a virus at one stage, a fungus at another, a bacterium at still another, and still other forms in further stages. Some of these changes follow changes in the FOOD(medium) in which they grow. Some of the forms of these microbes are benign, while others are disease producing(virulent). An asparagus mediuym will produce a benign form while a pork medium will transform the bug into it's virulent form.
The virulent bug they observe in cancer, they say, is normally present in the body in it's benign form when we are healthy, and probably serves functions that keep us healthy. Virulent bugs can be TRANSFORMED back into begign bugs if we MAKE OUR BODY INTO A DIFFERENT MEDIUM BY DIETARY CHHANGES - away from meats and toward vegetables...
One way to maintain health is to adhere to food habits that make our body a medium that is UNconducive to the developement and growth of virulent forms of bugs..."
and, a proposal...from "symbionts" to "evolving symbionts"
This book was my bedtime reading last night...yeah!
Apparently our microbe pals can be a little cantankerous, to say the least. :)
