I know how you feel, since it doesn't show on the outside people don't take you seriously instead labeling you as a hypochondriac.
I am 24 years old now and been battling candida for the last 1Ĺ year, but the candida symptoms caused by celiac disease has been on me since i was 6 yrs old or so but i've not known this until spring this year.
I consulted an doctor but he was no specialist on the GI tract so he could not do other than take bloodsamples and excrementorientated parasite test, which showed nothing.
At its worst i almost fell into coma 27th of December 2005 and at that point i had brain fog to the degree that my IQ could aswell has been 50, i kid you not and when you're in that state it's hopeless to try and interpret how each kind of food affects you.
I drove car only once on the whole winter of 2005/2006 and my mind gave me a hard time concentrating on the road so i decided not to drive for a while.
Today i am not fully recovered cause i discovered only two weeks ago that caprylic acid had a very bad impact on my inflamed bowels.
But i am doing better now, much better, first time in 18 years i am regularly sleeping less than 10 hours a day without insomnia, 8 hours to be exact and not having to put in efforts just to articulate my speech.
Estimated i have 2 months left to treat my candida.
