Your lymph system is actually larger in volume than your circulating blood stream.
BUT -- and this is an important "but" --
it must be prodded into movement by the actions of your muscles. Since gravity is always holding you down to the earth, you must overcome gravity -- at least briefly. That will circulate your lymph system, by giving your body the "prod" or extra help that it needs.
The two easiest ways to do that are: 1.) bounce on a small trampoline for c. 10 minutes, or 2.) go to the children's playground in any public park, and pump yourself on the swings, for 10 or 12 minutes. Both actions will temporarily reverse the effect of eath's gravity, at the top of your body's arc.
Gravity is the reason why the soles of our bare feet are part of our elimination systems, as MH has pointed out here several times. Our lymph system will not ordinarily go in the "up" direction, unless we move our muscles, to help nature's process along.
The concept is beautifully simple. (I regard it as my "second childhood.")
Hope this helps ....
