The Spectrum Coconut oil does not have the fresh coco-nutty taste of the virgin, unrefined oils, but it will be excellent to use as a moisturizer and hair conditioner. It also works well when cooking when you do not want a strong taste. I like Tropical Traditions the best of all the various coconut oils I have tried over the years, however, others have different tastes. Walmart sells a refined coconut oil by Louana that is very inexpensive. This works well when blended with a little of the expensive oil for external use if you need to watch your budget. Experiment and you will be surprised at all the things you can do with coconut oil. While unrefined, virgin oil is best for internal use, you can use the less expensive refined oil too.
