yep i saw that movie - during the time of my fast-food eating phase. didn't go to mickey d's for 3 weeks and then started all over again.*sigh*
but i'm really not so bad with that anymore. i do have a weakness for fried food, i admit. but my diet is infinitely better than 2, 3 years ago now. i just need time to change even more. :) i've moved to a small town from a big city. so now if i'm on the road and haven't planned my time well, fast food becomes the answer. but it's not that often.
actually i do like salad, but it's never helped me with going to the bathroom. i have tried eating fiber and it didn't help. what did help was probiotics, for a while. and an ayurvedic guy that i saw actually told me that salad would make it harder for me to go. he said only warm food for me... but of course that's just one school of thoguht. i'm not sure if that way has worked any better for me either.
that's why i haven't placed that much emphasis on eating fruits and veges - i actually like eating them. they just don't really help!
and i'm pretty good with not eating processed foods. no more campbell soup and stuff like that for me (used to be a staple of my diet) - except for vegetarian "meat". like veggie dogs and stuff. are those bad ?
i will try to do some raw - that's against the ayurvedic analysis of my system but i might branch out at this point and try something else. with the oil, do i just get them at health food stores? what about "regular" olive oil from the supermarket? no good?
