I just heard about this from a 15yrold today. She's all for it.

15yrold to her friend "OMG did you know they're making it a law that all school age kids have to get a shot to prevent cervical cancer"

Other girl says something about hating shots.

15yrold girl says "I know. I do too but at least its 1 cancer they have a cure for"

I said something about it being pointless because there are millions of cancers out there and you'll just end up with another one plus the shot is too new so it'll have side effects nobody knows about yet. (I am not getting into holistic/alternative health with clueless people so that's what I went with)

She shrugged and was just happy that it's "at least one cancer she doesn't have to worry about"

I felt bad. :(
