My Mirena story

I had my Mirena inserted in 3/06 I immediately got bad acne. I have never had Acne in my life. From 1 month after insertion until I had it removed yesterday I had chronic infections. Prior to removing the dr asked me when my last infection was and I told him I had had vaginal irritation just Monday. So he took a swab and said you definately have a bacterial infection - then proceeded to tell me how it wasnt from the Mirena. Never had the problem before ! So now I have use Vandazole for 5 days. I lost my sex drive completely. My husband not too happy about that ! I have my pills and I'm ready to start but when can I ? The dr said not until I have my period. I started bleeding today which I'm guessing is not my period.
