I'm on day 17 of a water fast. I don't know how long I'm going to stay on it. I'd stay on it forever, if I could -- not that I feel particularly good, but I'm sure I will if I keep it up.
My question is, is there some way to know when to end it? Any signals the body gives off or something like that?
Also, everything I've read says your heartbeat will slow down while on a fast. Mine has sped up. Usually, my resting heartbeat is around 50 per minute, or lower. Now, it fluctuates between 80 and 90. I'm a little concerned.
And I've noticed Iodine being mentioned here and there. I've no idea if I'm Iodine deficient. How can I find out?
