Your IUD is in your intestines?? What symptoms did you have?

I tried to have my Mirena removed at my last pap smear but she couldn't grab onto the strings. I had to go back this week for a colposcopy for an abnormal pap smear & that doctor tried to get them out but couldn't even find the strings! He says I'll have to be put to sleep & have a hysteroscopy to find the strings & then pull it out. Needless to say, I'm pretty apprehensive about all this!! Tweet
