An agency for natural alternatives?
Thanks for the compliments. I try to make a difference in whatever small ways I can.
Your idea is admirable, but you will be going up against a trillion dollar global empire that does not play by the rules, unless the rules are the ones they make, and they will not willingly surrender control of a single inch of their domination of world pharmaceutical or medical empire.
Nevertheless, I have always taken the side of David in the battle versus Goliath and there is no battle more important to me than having the truth and access to natural alternatives to dangerous synthetic prescribed drugs and mainstream slash, burn and poison treatments. I do not know about business savvy people so much (otherwise I would probably not be so poor - lol), but if you are serious, I have friends and acquaintances in the world of alternative health who would likely look favorably upon what you seek to do and I would be happy to put you in touch with so that you can enlist them or else join forces in their ongoing efforts.
An alternate agency that truly represents the interests of the public and that would fund and perform unbiased tests on natural alternatives would be a wonderful thing. I guess my biggest concern, beyond the immense size and determination of those on the other side, is: how do you keep money and vested interests from subverting such an alternate agency? I have no doubt that they would try to do so, and unless you can do that, I would rather have no oversight than put in the hands of an agency that could be bought and sold by big money and big Pharma!
The FDA for example was created pretty much to serve industry to begin with, and it works diligently to suppress natural alternatives and other competition to big pharma. In any given year, up to 50% or more of the management who leave the FDA end up in the employment of those they are supposed to oversee. At least two of the most recent FDA commissioners were forced out or else resigned under a cloud of suspicion due to gifts they received from industry. A ban on such practices, limiting access by mainstream lobbyists, and affording natural alternatives a fraction of the leeway that approved medications receive would be important steps to take.
Send me an email to Dquixote1217@gmail.com and I will give you names and email addresses of those who may wish to help.
Live long, live healthy, live happy!
