Yours and Romeo's writings raise good points and maybe someone can email Dr. Miller and get his thoughts on it.

Speaking of the small intestine, my understanding is that a large proportion of the population has a plaque that lines the walls of their small intestine, like a plastic film, and prevents absorption of nutrients. Dr. Kelley taught that if a person does nothing else for health, they ought to do something to remove such film / plaque, and the product he recommended was something called Okra-Pepsin E3. One can search the web and find testimonials from people who claimed to have litteraly crapped out "ropes" of this plaque following their have taken the product.
