I just recently had the same experience. Don't know if it had anything to do with the Mirena or not. I had one abnormal pap before I had the Mirena, but didn't have to have a colposcopy or biopsy. This time I did. I was really scared but it didn't hurt at all & I got my results back in a week & all was well! Good luck!!
