The Golden Door Cookbook, by Michael Strout

I lived in North County during the Golden Door Spa days, Michael used to put on cooking classes at the perfect pan - a cooking store.

3 or 4 of use would site at his cooking "counter" and drink wine and watch him instruct us on his latest healthy creations for the golden Door

I think the cost was $55.00, and we got to eat the food, his cookbook, and a evening of intimate entertainment. It was really quite nice. The food is healthy and delicious
Here's the draw back for me, prep is extensive in all "goog food" cooking

Our Gerson chef just left the Institute, but he was at the Institute before anyone and he juiced the green juice for our breakfast, then began to prepare LUNCH at 7-8 am...this is the prep time it takes to be a healthy chef

I hate to admit it but just for me, its a lot of work...
At least with Michael's cookbook the portions are less and the prep not as extensive..but still

You can buy his cookbook used for $3-4.oo perhaps it worth a try for that
