I just bought it thinking that if it said Lugol's solution, it is lugol's. It is not syrupy and it says 5% Iodine on it. On the website it says It contains in 1ml 50mg of free Iodine and about 130mg of total iodine. Aqueous Iodine Oral Solution has sometimes been known as Schiller's Iodine.
My question is if it doesn't contain potassium iodide, is that a problem? I haven't really done well on potassium in supplements or in food and avoid it. Does the mixture have to be there for the iodine treatment to work? I have been taking 3 drops for about ten days and have been doing better energy wise.
