sharing meals with someone has a good meaning in a relationship,harmony, getting along etc

Something in your relationship has moved and become dark, sad, obscure, not clear etc and you cant see clearly

something, expectation, idea,bond,etc is possibly dead

He is scared about that but you say "I would deal with the insect just as soon as I had take the dishes"
Do you always deal with the bad stuff by yourself and have to do it fast so he doesnt feel unconfortable?
interesting, you dont feel scared or unconfortable but he does.
