I'm right here with you. You may find you want to continue fasting if you make it past 3-4 days. I've found that the first few days are actually the hardest and then it gets easier. I'm usually week the first few days, although this the beginning of day 2 for me and I feel fine -- a little bit hungry. I haven't lost a single ounce yet and I took a brisk 2 mile walk and worked in the yard yesterday. Go figure!...
I had always been a very petite person, now I cry when I look at myself in the mirror. I gained a lot of weight and it is depressing. I've caught people making fun of my size. Its humiliating and painful and I don't think some people realize how frightening it is to feel like you are not in control of your own body.
We are reclaiming that power over our bodies/lives. It is wonderful to see that there are others out there -- you -- we -- are not alone!
