Hi Tom, thanks for your post. I think you're right about the licorice root - as well as it being in my herbal prescription, I was also drinking licorice tea. I have since stopped taking licorice altogether, and felt much better! Just goes to show that what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another.
I had a hair mineral tissue analysis done a couple of years ago that indicated copper overload and 'hidden' copper. For this I took Vit C (4g a day), Molybdenum 800mcg (this is an important supplement for copper overload), Zinc 50mg, MSM (sulphur) and amino acids. Earlier this year I had another hair test done which showed my copper had gone down (so something must have worked, although I wasn't necessarily feeling much better), but now indicated adrenal fatigue. Vicious circle?!
