Re: "Gay Leader" quits homosexuality.

You may well be right.  It is fair to ask how people who "converted" do many years down the road.  Very fair indeed.  Nevertheless, I think that people do change over time. Sexual urges definitely change, though slowly and often painfully.  Take men or women who are promiscuious and then marry and struggle with fidelity only to finally achieve a faithfulness in their 40s or 50s.  Then their are those who are frigid or prudish only to awaken to the joys of sex later in life.

I don't want to say that sexuality is or is not a choice.  All I know is that people do struggle with many aspects of their sexuality, gay or straight, and this struggle can go through many phases, including religious.

I congratulate Michael because I think he is trying to grow.   In some ways, the poor guy found himself in a high stress career as a gay leader.  He was bound to burn out.  It is likely he is over-correcting.  I hope the guy finds his peace somewhere.
